Biomass energy for production use in small and medium-sized enterprises (smes) in the olive oil industry

The project aims to transform the market for the use of organic waste from olive oil and other industries for energy production. This is intended to be achieved through investments in the organic olive industry and other industries in waste to energy projects, through market demonstration, development of relevant financial instruments, capacity building, strengthening of policies and regulatory environment. The project will reflect the priorities of the Albanian government to promote sustainable development, as a member of the European Energy Community, as well as to implement the European legislation on Renewable Energy, which defines its specific objectives in consumer energy.

• The use of modern biomass technologies in industrial processes in Albania;
• Enabling the Market and regulatory environment for biomass technology in the industry established in Albania;
• Monitoring, Evaluation and Knowledge Management.
