Adaptation to Climate Change in Transboundary Risk Management in the Western Balkans

The main objective of this regional project is to support the four countries, namely Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo, and improve flood risk management in the Drin river basins.

The project indicators are as follows:

• Flood forecasts for the Drin river basins are developed periodically;
• Establishing cross-border flood risk management measures;
• To increase by 20% the number of people who have the necessary knowledge of how to behave in areas affected by floods.
